Joanna Maidment

Born in Poland, Joanna is an author who lives in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. She earns her keep by working as a project manager in community health, while studying writing and publishing. Her poems, short stories and novels are informed by a desire for society to see women in a meaningful and equal light. Her writing pursues themes of love, sex and women’s right to pleasure.
